He said, “Your role in bridging the gap between differences and discrimination as well as your philanthropic ideology of uplifting and uniting students of northern Nigeria and Nigeria as a whole deserves commendation.

“The support you are giving to youth has played a vital role in the shape of the educational system in the country and we urge you not to relent in your efforts in service to humanity and your mother land.”

He urged others to emulate the recipient’s contribution saying, “It will go a long way in changing the narratives of the educational system in northern Nigeria.”

In his acceptance speech, the awardee, Hon Muhammad said, “We should not be copy cats. Try to be who you are and remain consistent> Why people fail these days is because we like to copy from so many things and at the end of the day, we end up being confused. This I think is one of the major problems Nigerian youth are facing.”
