Nigeria Profession­al Football League matches resume Sunday

Organizers have announced that action in the Nigeria Profession­al Football League will on Sunday, 17th March, 2019 across the country.

According to a circular signed by the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the League Management Company (LMC), Salihu Abubakar and sent to all participat­ing clubs, outstandin­g matches will hold as earlier scheduled.

The Nigeria top flight league was suspended as a result of the recent general elections in the country.

Meanwhile, the Match Day 11 matches to be played on Sunday will see Wikki Tourists battle Rivers United while Remo Stars lock horns with Enugu Rangers.

Other fixtures will see Niger Tornadoes take on champions, Lobi Stars while Katsina United and Kwara United will fight for all three points.

Sunshine Stars FC will welcome former champions Enyimba while MFM will play host to Bendel Insurance.

In Group B, Abia Warriors will take on Plateau United while El-Kanemi Warriors battle Gombe United.

In the same vein, Heartland and FC IfeanyiUba­h will welcome Akwa United and Kano Pillars at home respective­ly, while Nasarawa United will be guests of Kada City while Yobe Desert Stars will tackle Go Round.

According to the fixtures, all the matches will be played by 4pm simultaneo­usly.
