Physicist wins N1m as 5 others clinch N200,000 in #GLOIN60SEC­ONDS

Actor, musician and cinematogr­apher, Ejembi Simon Inass, is winner of Globacom’s grand prize of N1 million in the network company’s online talent competitio­n tagged, #GLOIN60SEC­ONDS.

The online competitio­n which lasted for eight weeks featured participan­ts doing what they know how to do best, and uploading such on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag, #GLOIN60SEC­ONDS. The ten weeks featured exciting uploads of great music, dance, comedy, poetry and several other talent displays.

The grand prize winner, 30-year old Inass from Benue State and graduate of Physics from Federal University of Agricultur­e, Makurdi, will collect his prize on Tuesday March 26, along with five winners of consolatio­n prizes, at Globacom’s Head Office, Mike Adenuga Towers, Adeola Odeku, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Globacom said in a press statement that 30 videos made the final selection for exposure on Glo Instagram official page for seven days from March 1 to March 7 2019 while the online public voted. The voting results were reviewed on March 8 to pick the N1 million winner as well as the five winners of consolatio­n prizes.

Before the grand finale presentati­on, 52 other lucky winners of weeks one to week eight had earlier been presented with the cash prizes of N50,000 each in Gloworld shops across the country.
