Bulama, says President Muhammadu Buhari wants to leave a legacy of prosperity and sustainability as a personality who is always conscious of the judgment of history.

Architect Bulama, who said this over the weekend in Abuja while speaking with journalists, voiced the commitment of President Buhari to delivering the promised change and transformation to the Nigerian people.

He said the reelection of Mr President would give him ample opportunity to consolidate on his vision for a new Nigeria.

The APC chieftain from Borno State said the mandate given to the president for a second term of four years was the best decision by the Nigerian electorate as he had always known the yearnings of the ordinary Nigerian.

He said, “We who know the kind of man President Buhari is; we have watched closely the role he has played in the political life of this country and the qualities that have sustained him in politics; we cannot help but be filled with optimism about the prospect of him being at the helm of our nation’s affairs for the next four years,” he said.

“The president knows what is at stake; he knows that Nigeria is our common patrimony; he sees himself as a fatherly figure of the nation, he is conscious of the judgment of history and wants to leave a legacy of prosperity and sustainability.

“We can see what he has been doing in the last four years to rescue the economy from recession and stagnation, to bring stability and growth. You can see the socioeconomic and social welfare policies like the Social Investment Programmes, Tradermoni scheme, and the massive infrastructural drive.

“PMB and the APC are concerned about the conditions of the vulnerable people in Nigeria,” he said.
