Bunmi Tunji-Ojo: Square peg in square hole

-

Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, elected member representing Akoko North East/ North West Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives story cannot be told without reference to the grace of God and the trait of resilience in a man whose gifts and guts enabled to rise.

Tunji-Ojo, popuarly called by the sibroquet BTO, is a graphic example of a man who by sheer determination and persistence of will wriggled out himself from nothing to consequence..

His determination to become a worthy figure even right from the scratch helped him to defeat poverty and lack, an experience that helped his resolve to rescue his people from the firm grip of poor life. God too has been gracious, he has been most kind to Bunmi Tunji-Ojo, and now his struggle over the years has yielded substance so well that he can now give back to the needy and the stressed.

A core professional which a second address, he has evidently achieved monumental successes, and now that his people has elected him as torch bearer for the development for his people, it can only be taken for granted that he will deliver accordingly. A smart political actor with a bright foresight, Bunmi, immediately after winning his election into the Federal House of Representatives, worked assiduously for the election of the present Speaker of the 9th national Assembly, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, canvassing support on all sides, moving between polls and pillars to ensure victory for his man.

Looking back, it was a smart choice and decision that he made. Today, as Chairman, House Committee on Niger Delta Development Commission, a lucrative position by any standard, he is sure to make life better for his people. An accomplished business man and management executive who specializes in the development and execution of strategic documents needed for both corporate and national growth, this background will only help incrementally his dealings in public office.

He is likewise imbued with solid background in developing businesses in areas of agriculture, ICT, research, finance, management consultancy and manufacturing industries. Hence, the people can rest assured of greater political exploits.

As Chiarman of NDDC, Tunji-Ojo, who is obviously blessed with good organizational, relationship and administrative skills, will prove his mettle. His ability to create strategy for organizational wins, management skills at executive level and excellent interpersonal and communication skills will sure rub off on his new assignment at the national assembly. For him, he is more than ever before, fully prepared to lead the pace of infrastructural development and the economic liberation of his people.
