Re: Maulud: The defying innovation

Assalamu Alaykum. Good read. No doubt if the intention is ibadah, then it is bid’ah.

But why stop only here? Muslims should, strictly, only celebrate two Eids per Hijri year.

If such devotion is called for, then let the cry out be as well as to stop Christmas, Easter, and all other formal, informal multi-celebrations and holidays imposed, or at the very least, not be forced on Muslims.

So then, it is a bold struggle between da’awah, mercenary and ideology.

In this era, if everyone in the world is sharing/ advertising their thoughts, some even regardless of simple morals/ethics, let alone anomalies, then let the remembrance of Allah’s greatest creation ever be flagged to draw attention; and who knows; maybe hidayah through a simple query (strictly distinguishing it and not as an iba’dah), as well as an introduction to the greatest being and guider of tawheed that ever lived over all time.

I personally celebrate al Naby (SAW) everyday most of the daily moments as should every Muslim

For al salatu wassalamu alyhi is for sure a thikr and remembrance to which insha Allah will reward dunyah and aakhirah.

If such thoughts are wrong and in any way out of Islam’s context I truly repent to Allah for forgiveness and reverse ... astaghfirullah.

Allahumma allimna ma yanfa’una wanfa’na bima allamtana. (Yaa Allah! Teach us what is useful and let us benefit from what You have taught us.)
