Zulum delivers 20 bungalows to UNIMAID
Borno State Governor Professor Babagana Umara Zulum on Thursday commissioned 20 units of semidetached bungalows built by his administration to increase access to staff accommodation at the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID).
The houses, which have been formally handed over to the management of the university, were constructed within two months.
They were designed with courtyards, modern doors, windows and POP.

The governor also announced that the 2020 budget of the state would take care of the construction of 50 units of single bedroom houses for junior staff of the university.
He noted that he intended to oblige a request from his former Faculty of Engineering in the area of infrastructure.
“We are doing so much for the
University of Maiduguri not because I was a lecturer here, but because UNIMAID has been the number one source of human resource in Borno
every home in the state. We have
