Nasarawa State Gover­nor Ab­dul­lahi Sule, yes­ter­day, gave rea­son why he went to church for thanks­giv­ing af­ter his vic­tory in the 2019 gen­eral elec­tions

Speak­ing dur­ing the com­mis­sion­ing/ded­i­ca­tion of Evan­gel­i­cal Re­formed Church of Christ (ERCC) ul­tra-mod­ern head­quar­ters' sec­re­tar­iat along Keffi road Alushi, Ak­wanga LGA of the state, he said it was be­cause he at­tended Ro­man Catholic Mis­sion (RCM) Pri­mary School, Gudi in 1968.

Rep­re­sented by his special ad­viser on Youths and Sports,

Mr Kwanta Yakubu, the gover­nor who do­nated N5m to the church, called on all faith-based or­gan­i­sa­tions both Chris­tian and Mus­lims to sup­port his ad­min­is­tra­tion.

He said the state, un­der his lead­er­ship, will con­tinue to carry ev­ery­one along to en­hance the peace, unity and de­vel­op­ment of the state.
