Masari’s wife, Zakiyya, receives ‘Most Valuable Governor’s wife award
The Wife of Katsina State Governor Hajiya Zakiyya Aminu Bello Masari has received most Valuable Governor’s wives Award in recognition of her Selfless Service to Humanity.
The Award ceremony was held at Sheraton Hotel and Towers Abuja.
Receiving the Award, Hajiya Zakiyya Aminu Bello Masari said that she was happy to be considered for such wonderful award, while calling on leaders to always consider less privileged persons who needs assistance.
Hajiya Zakiyya Masari said it was high time that the leaders recognized their electorates who deserve special assistance.
the Governor’s wife explained that her pet project ‘Women, Youth and Children Improve Support Initiative’ was basically helping the needy through empowerment, Health, Education, Farming, giving Scholarship , provision of drugs to Sickle cell among others.
While dedicating the Award to Women of Katsina State, the Governor’s wife assured to continue rendering Humanitarian Services and initiate more women and Youth oriented programs.
In his remarks, the chairman of the occasion, Mr Valentine’s Ozigbo, said the most valuable Governor’s wives Award was designed to lead in recognition of the Governors’ wives who are providing complimentary achievement to the Governor’s achievement to become part of the Democratic team that have been providing the grassroots achievement.
Mr Valentine’s added that the Governor’s wives assessment base on their project availabilities in the public domain, and that the impact on their beneficiary are considered.
In a message sent by the Director General Small and Medium Enterprises Dr Dikko Umar Radda read by Mr Friday Okpara, congratulate the Awardees for being among the receivers of the most valuable Award.
He said the Agency have been recognizing Women and Youth through Entrepreneurship to boost their economic growth.
Other Awardees at the event include wife of Bauchi State Governor, Dr Aisha Bala Muhammed; Wife of Zamfara State Governor, Aisha Matawalle; that of Kaduna, Hajia Hadiza El-rufa’I; that of Kano, Hajiya Hafsat Ganduje, as well as Sokoto, Adamawa, Ekiti, and Edo States.
