A 40-year-old suspected member of Aiye secret cult group, terrorizing residents of Ikorodu and environs, Rasheed Isiaka, has confessed to being recruited by land grabbers to fight gang war in the area.

The suspect alleged that members of his group are often recruited by developers to fight and take over prized lands.

The suspect, who has been on the police watchlist for years, was arrested by operatives of Sagamu

Lagos State police spokesman Muyiwa Adejobi, in a statement confirming the arrest of the suspect, said items recovered from them included two locallymade pistols, one laptop, two suspected stolen Bajaj motorcycles, two knives and some assorted charms.
