Land swap: Entrepreneur urges Nigerians to back Buhari’s policies
An investor and promoter of Ketti District, Abuja, under the FCDA land swap programme, Mr. Moses Ayom, has urged Nigerians to key into the policies of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, in the interest of rapid national development.
Ayom, who is also the MD/CEO of Hongye Groups made the call yesterday in Abuja, at the centenary celebration of the Chinese Communist Party organised in collaboration with the China Alumni Association and supported by the Chinese Embassy in Nigeria.
He said that the decision of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) to lift the suspension on the FCT land swap programme was a revolutionary step to bridge the infrastructure deficit and evidence of President Muhammadu Buhari’s commitment to fast-track Nigeria’s quest to overcome her infrastructural, housing and employment challenges.
Ayom who was on the first presidential trade mission to China in 2016, said his dream of establishing Africa’s largest Green Smart City in Ketti District, along Airport Road, Abuja, will now be a reality and that Nigerians will soon witness urbanisation programmes similar to Dubai, and Qatar among others.
“This year’s celebration for Nigeria and particularly in the FCT is unique because it coincides with the return to Nigeria of our Chinese partners Hongye International Limited, following the historic lifting of the suspension of the Land Swap Programme by the FEC headed by President Muhammadu Buhari,” he said
