Fibroid operation 3x, how safe?

I am 44 year old and had my first fibroid operation when I was twenty seven years old and the second one ten years later . I am about to do an IVF but the doctor insists I do another fibroid operation first. Why can’t they do the IVF without the operation? Honestly I am afraid and I don’t want to do it . From all indication you need the operation prior to the invitrofertilization (IVF) . It is better you do it. The only advise is that you should do it in a very good centre with experienced Gynaecologist because of the fear of adhesions from previous surgeries.
