Nyako distributes pumping machines to youth leaders

The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Special Duties, Senator Abdul’Aziz Murtala Nyako, (APC, Adamawa Central), has distributed 84 irrigation pumping machines to youth leaders in his constituency.

In a statement by his media aide, Chris Alu, in Abuja, Nyako said that the gesture was to encourage them to go into farming.

According to him, youth participation in farming would create more job opportunities and create wealth in the state.

The statement added that 92 sewing machines were also given to women leaders in each of the 76 wards in his constituency while the construction of a mini earth dam was launched at Kariahi ward. The Adamawa Central Zone APC chairman, Mr. Dimas Ezra, commended the senator for fulfilling his campaign promises.
