Scores injured as Kwankwasiyya, Gandujiyya clashed in Kano

-

It is very sad that these sort of attacks are taking place in Kano. Supporters should be mindful of what they do. What is the point of attacking each other for politicians who may not even know that they exist? Nigerian youths need to stop blind followership and hero worshiping. Most politicians just use and dump them after elections. Sam Bahago

Kwankwaso should concentrate on his Senate work and allow Ganduje to govern his state well. Engr Ibraheem Aspa

Kano is beyond Kwankwasiyya or Gandujiyya. We, the people of Kano State have to be wise and ensure that we do not plunge the state into a crisis situation. Aminu Ibrahim Aif May Allah intervene in this matter. Abubakar Lawan Abubakar

To me, Kano is beyond Kwankwaso and Ganduje, so we should all be mindful of what we do or say. Nasiru Usman Abubakar

It is very unfortunate that such will occur during Sallah celebration. I urge both parties to sheath their swords and make peace. It is only when there is peace in a state that there can be development. Abubakar Abdullahi

My worry is that youths keep fighting on behalf of politicians who, even after securing seats will not do anything to better their lot. Young men should be wise and stop allowing politicians to use them. Umaru Abbas

What many thugs do not understand is that while they are fighting, the children of the politicians are abroad. It is time for youths in the country to prove that they have something to offer. If they continue fighting for politicians, they will never be taken seriously. Chuma Kenedili

I was really sad to hear of what happened in Kano. I think Governor Ganduje and Senator Kwankwaso should settle to avoid further attacks in the state. Baba Ibrahim Dan Katsina

Youths are the leaders of tomorrow and they have to start exhibiting leadership qualities. Fighting for politicians won’t take them anywhere. Nura Mahmud We need peace in Kano. Muhammd Salim Yusha U
