Ex-minister optimistic of violent-free election
Aformer Minister of Power, Professor Chinedu Nebo has expressed optimism over the peaceful and successful conduct of the November 18 governorship election in Anambra State.
He said there was no need to panic and urged the electorate to freely exercise their franchise.
Speaking yesterday at a prayer rally by the Anglican Church, Awka, the state capital, with the theme “Help from Above,” Nebo urged the electorate to be focused as they vote for the right candidate.
“We don’t want anything bad to happen to our dear state, the flagship of Igbo land, because anything that happens to Anambra would negatively affect the rest of the South-East,” he said.
