Atiku mobilizes support for Obaseki

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has directed that his support groups in Edo State be immediately activated to galvanise supports for the re-election of

Governor Godwin Obaseki in the forthcoming election in the state.

Deputy Director in charge of Atiku Support Group/Mobilization in the defunct Atiku Presidential Campaign Organisation, Oladimeji Fabiyi confirmed the directives of the former Vice President to journalists in Benin yesterday.

“Atiku has directed that all independent Atiku Support Groups in Edo State should be activated with immediate effect as part of mobilization for the victory of Godwin Obaseki, the governorship candidate of the PDP,” he said.

Fabiyi said, Atiku who is a major stakeholder of the PDP considers it imperative to put in place winning structures and machinery that will guarantee total victory for the party in Edo State

He said the development was to ensure that the party complete take full control of the South South region which he noted “belonged to the PDP naturally and originally”.
