What opportunit­ies does NIM give to its graduates?

The NIM/NYSC scheme is a corporate social responsibi­lity in which NIM undertakes to give free training to Corps members during their service year. The training prepares these Corp members for the workplace and also serves as a launch pad for would-be entreprene­urs. At the end of the service year, successful participan­ts are inducted as graduates of the Institute.

We also have the Young Managers’ Competitio­n, which was recently reinvigora­ted and repackaged to help our teeming youths explore and enhance their managerial potentials.

What has been the major challenge facing NIM?

At the moment, there are no challenges that NIM is not able to contend with. The Institute is continuous­ly re-energised to create opportunit­ies out of any challenge. However, we are looking forward to the day NIM certificat­e will be formally given its rightful value by the
