IN partnership with Stellenbosch University, the 14th Security Watch Africa (SWA) Awards, Conference and Exhibition, would from February 6 to 9, 2017, hold in Kigali, Rwanda. The award nominees include those from private security, governance, academic and industrial sectors for their efforts in changing their respective societies one-step at a time.
The event, which would be hosted by Rwandan president, Mr. Paul Kagame, would be held at Radisson Blu Hotel and Convention Centre, Kigali, Rwanda. Since the inception of the award in 2004, with Abuja, Nigeria, as its first host, the body has not looked back in addressing issues on security in Africa.
According to the SWA CEO and International Coordinator, Mr. Patrick Agbambu, the event is expected to bring together African scholars across the world to discuss security and safety issues confronting Africa. He noted that the event would celebrate outstanding performance by people across the continent.
