The verbal war between Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State and his Anambra State counterpar­t, Willie Obiano, took another dimension with Obiano telling Okorocha to keep quiet when serious governors are talking because he (Okorocha) has nothing to offer. • General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, said there is dearth of good leadership in the country, adding that the church is the worst hit.

The cabinet of Jóhanna Sigurðardó­ttir was formed, making her the country's first female prime minister and the world's first openly LGBT head of government.
