The gesture was part of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative and activities lined up to celebrate Mikano’s 25 years of operations in the country. Speaking at the presentation ceremony held at the school’s vocational training centre in Mushin, Lagos, Head, Marketing, Misaa Hermes said CSR is a crucial objective of the company to support the development of the communities within which they operate. According to her, a common thread that runs through their work is to ensure that they become the reference point for the accomplishment of successful social initiatives that would pave the way for other organsations in the area of CSR.

She said Mikano has aso implemented various other social responsibility initiatives that support students, Nigerian Police Force and disadvantaged members of the society.

Hermes said: “By extending and supporting the societies, we continue to add value to the economic and social development of Nigerian people.

Founder of the Home, Mrs. Chioma Ohakwe expressed appreciation to the company and urged them to continue impacting the lives of Nigerian positively through such initiatives.

She also advised other companies to emulate Mikano and sow into the lives of the less privileged.
