Buhari warns public servants against influencing contracts, others
PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari has warned political appointees and other officials against using their positions to confer undue advantage on anyone seeking government jobs and favours, stating that such action was antithetical to the character of the current administration.
Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, in a statement yesterday in Abuja, said the President’s warning followed persistent reports of fraudsters using business cards and purported referral letters from presidential aides and other top government functionaries to solicit employment, contracts and other favours.
