ICPC Petitioned Over Deplorable State Of Eku- Abraka- Agbor Road

Urged To Unravel Mysteries Surrounding Project

ADELTA State- born journalist, Matthew Ogune, has petitioned the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission ( ICPC) over an abandoned federal road project in Abraka town.

ICPC had recently commenced investigations into federal constituency projects fraudulently abandoned across the country between 2015 and 2019.

According to Ogune, The Project C/ No. 6249: Dualisation of Sapele- Ewu Road; Section 1: Sapele- EkuAbraka- Agbor Road in Delta State, which was first awarded in 2015, was to be completed on July 2017 but no progress had been made since then.

He noted that the project, however, started in September 2017 with January 20202 as completion date.
