Kebbi Begins Resettlement Of Flood Victims

KEBBI State Government has commenced relocation of recent flood victims back to their various communities in Bagudo Council of the state.

Addressing newsmen, yesterday, in Birnin Kebbi, the State Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Hon. Kaliel Aliyu Giddado, said almost all the affected people in the councilhaverelocatedtotheir various villages after spending some weeks in refugees’ camps.

Giddado stated that the state government provided the people with adequate support to resettle in their communities.

The commissioner added that both Federal and state governments distributed food items and other items as supportive measures to the victims of the floods.
