Mobile City enters Nigeria, mulls phone manufactur­ing

AFTER about 11 years abroad, Mobile City, an indigenous operator has finally entered Nigeria.

With focus on retail mobile phone enterprise­s, Mobile City, according to the Chief Executive Officer, Stanley Afunwa, having made impact in Hong Kong, USA, Zambia, Malawi and Zimbabwe, the brand has finally come home.

Afunwa explained the company aims to bring the best in mobile phone technology whilst remaining budget friendly for their customers, understand­ing the importance of affordable top- end 4G smartphone­s.

The CEO stated that his vision was not to contain and limit the business of modern gadgets only to retail sales, but also to expand it as further as possible.

Afunwa said there is plan by the firm to start local manufactur­ing of smartphone­s in Nigeria.
