TEJUOSO, His Royal Majesty, Dr. Adedapo Adewale, Oranmiyan, Karunwi III, Osile-oke Ona, Egba clocked 83 on February 19, 2021.

He was born on February 19, 1938 and educated at St. George’s Primary School in 1941. He also attended Mrs. Funmilayo Ransome Kuti Preparator­y School and later proceeded to Abeokuta Grammar School between January 1949 and December 1950. He had a brief stint at the Medical Department of the Senior Officer’s Office in Kakawa Lagos before he gained admission to Westham College of Technology at Stafford, East London for his advanced levels in July 30, 1957.

He got admitted into Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland to study Arts for four years before moving to medicine between 1958 and 1964. He did his housemansh­ip at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH).

He later stayed on for two and half years and left as a Senior House Officer in September 1966. He founded Teju Industrial Limited, now Iyalode Bisoye Tejuoso Hospital.

He was conferred with Commander of the Order of the Niger (OON) and also a member of the Prison Reform Committee set up by the former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

ALI, Senator (Dr.) Ahmadu, administra­tor, politician and former chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will be 85 on Monday, March 1, 2021. Born on March 1, 1936 at Gbobe near Lokoja, Kogi State, he was educated at the Nigerian College of Arts and Science, Zaria between 1955 and 1957 before moving over to University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan from 1957 to 1963.

He was also educated at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland and the Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh.

Ali served as the Deputy Director of Army Medical Services and Chief Consulting Physician of the Military Hospital, Kaduna. In 1973, he became the first Director-general of the National Youth Service Corps, a position he held until 1975 when he was appointed Minister of Education.

He served also as Chairman of the PDP National Working Committee from 2005 to 2007.

OLABAYO, Apostle Prophet Theophilus Oluwasanu, cleric and founder of the Evangelica­l Church of Yahweh, will be 75 on Wednesday, February 24, 2021. Born on February 24, 1946, to Pa Joseph and Omolanke Olabayo of Ogori Town, Olabayo, is one of Nigeria’s most prominent prophets in recent times.

His birth had been predicted by both Christians and non-christians but the most remarkable prophetic utterance was from the popular Christian Evangelist and Prophet of the Christ Apostolic Church, Apostle Joseph Babalola who announced that the Ogori Royal Family would produce a major prophet and evangelist to the world.

The establishm­ent of the Evangelica­l Church of Yahweh is the manifestat­ion of the prophecy. Prophet Olabayo is married to Stella, and they are blessed with four children and many grandchild­ren.

MUSTAPHA, Senator Ramoni Olalekan, administra­tor and politician will be 61 on Thursday, February 25, 2021. Born on February 25, 1960, he has a Diploma in Public Health from the Ogun State College of Health Technology.

He was Chairman of the Ogun State Task Force on Building Project, Ijebu North Local Government, Ijebu-igbo between 1996 and 1997 and was elected as a member of the House of Representa­tives between 2003 and 2007 for the Ijebu North/east/ogun Waterside constituen­cy. He was elected a Senator for the Ogun East Constituen­cy in 2007 and was appointed to Committees on Niger Delta, Interior Affairs, Commerce and Capital Markets till the end of his tenure in 2011.
