‘ Ejigbo Estate Tennis Club committed to purpose- driven leadership’

PRESIDENT of Estate Tennis Club in Ejigbo , Lagos, Mr . Benson Ogunyamoju, says his administra­tion is committed to a purpose- driven leadership through accountabi­lity, integrity , diligence, love and empathy.

Speaking during his inaugurati­on with the new executive members, Ogunyamoju said: “This is our vision. This will support our cause to build conscious efforts geared toward rebuilding the camaradene among members. The welfare of our members is of utmost importance to the executive team and myself, and we will maintain exceptiona­l and unique practices in this area.

According to Ogunyamoju: “The bond that holds our associatio­n together will be effectivel­y exploited to celebrate key achievemen­ts and provide assistance to those in need.”

He stated that his executive would complete the lawn tennis court for members’ use as well as the gymnasium hall to serve as an income generation initiative in the long- run.

“There will be more internal competitio­ns and the reintroduc­tion of ladder tables across all sections. Members will be encouraged to participat­e in external competitio­ns, and club sectional offices will be fully supported to drive this initiative,” he added. He congratula­ted his predecesso­r, Banjo Adediran, and his executive for a ver y successful tenure, while acknowledg­ing the in valuable roles and contributi­ons of the interim management committee and electoral committee members for their selfless service to the club.
