Prepare To Enter Into Covenant With Your God

Isaiah 54: 10, For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee.

COVENANTIS usually a formal written agreement or promise, in most cases under seal between two or more parties for a performance of some actions. Where God is involved, it is between two unequal parties. In this case, the initiation starts with the higher party, God, in which He promises and offers blessing and protection to the lower party, while the latter, usually a human being, pledges to always render worship, service and be obedient. God established covenant with Abraham and with his son, Isaac and the blessings of God on these people were clearly manifest. The children of Abraham, the Israelites are under the Abrahamic covenant. In the scripture above, God made it clear that His covenant with Israel remains forever. In Ezekiel 34: 25- 26, the Bible says, “And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods. 26 And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.” God is promising a covenant of peace and blessing to His people, Israelites, in which He assured them of the removal of evil beasts from their land, thereby dwelling safely in the wilderness and anywhere they go. The devourers of the crops and cankerworms ravaging their income will be removed from their land. There will be no affliction of sicknesses and diseases, which the devil uses to attack God’s children. God does not renege in His promises, especially when there is an agreement. He will test whoever He will initiate a truce with to ensure the level of obedience and faithfulness of the person. Prior to entering into covenant with Abraham, He tested him by telling him to leave his people and his country to a place, He, God will show to him. Abraham’s obedience to the instruction without questions and fear of unknown opened the gate for the covenant. In Genesis 17: 2- 4, the Bible presents the covenant thus,

“And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly. 3 And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying, 4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.” God made a promise of covenant with Abraham, but the readiness of the latter to accept the divine condition made God to establish the covenant immediately. After the covenant, God further tested Abraham by telling him to use his only son Isaac for a burnt offering. A child was born to Abraham at the ripe age of 100 years. He had no hope of another child, but God deliberately put him to test by asking him to use the only son for a burnt offering. Without fear or questions, Abraham took the child to the offering base and was about killing him when God stopped him. When he passed the test, He further blessed him in all things. God took an oath to bless Abraham for not withholding his only son from being offered as sacrificial lamb. In Genesis 24: 1, the Bible says, “And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the Lord had blessed Abraham in all things.” Apart from Isaac, Abraham had many other children from other women. He married after Sarah’s death and had children. The people in the Middle East countries are all his children. He had flocks of cattle and sheep, goat and a great household. It is a generational covenant. As a proof the agreement of blessing and protection is handed down to his children, God reaffirmed the truce in Genesis 26: 3- 4 thus, “Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I swear unto Abraham thy father; 4 And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed.” There was famine in the land of Canaan, the dwelling place of Isaac and his family. He wanted to move to Egypt in search of greener pastures, but God’s ministration came unto him, advising him not to leave. Rather, He, God would be with him and bless him in the land of Canaan where he was living, promising to give him the entire land of Canaan, as earlier promised father, Abraham. The land, according to the biblical account, is flowing with milk and honey, a very fertile land. Even today, Israel is known for agriculture.

Joshua chose to enter into covenant with God by taking a decision to serve the living God with his family, notwithstanding whether the entire Israelites decided otherwise. The Bible presents it thus in Joshua

24: 15, And if it seems evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Joshua took a decision for his family to serve the Lord and God blessed him for that. One of the reasons God loved Abraham is because he has the ability to command his entire household to go the way of the Lord. You that are reading this message, it is incumbent on you to choose who to serve and enter into covenant with today. The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement, as a corporate body, has decided with all her members to enter into covenant of peace and blessing with God. If you are already a Chosen, you can still enter into personal covenant with the God of The Chosen. Where you are not yet in the fold but reading this message, the door is open for you to agree on your terms of relationship with your Maker today. There are different levels of agreement with God, depending on one’s needs and heart desires. You can enter into covenant of protection, asking God to remove sicknesses from you and your family members. You are at liberty to ask for blessing of prosperity, wealth and other material blessings. One can decide to request for long life or any other thing you deem fit and in accordance with God’s Will.

In the course of making these requests, ensure your operations are within the ambit of the Will of God. Your heavenly race must be without doubt by living a transparent sinless life, do the work of God and serve Him with all your heart. While you are under the Will of God, the second leg will be for God to start blessing you, and you will make Heaven at last in Jesus name!

Testimony Of The Lord’s Doing

Salvation Granted, Victory Over Spiritual Attack Of Enemies Followed

SALVATION of one’s soul and acceptance of Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour is the pivot upon which God’s protection and blessings revolve. It was the moment I accepted Jesus Christ that my situation started changing for the better.

I was born into the other religion, but as time went on and l reached the age of maturity and knowledge, l became a Christian through The Lord’s Chosen. Prior to my conversion to Christianity, a man appeared to me in the dream and asked me about my children. I told him l had no children but that I had a wife. He showed me my children in that dream and told me that the enemy was sitting upon my children, preventing their physical manifestation. He then asked me to change my religion and my children will manifest.

My brother who lives in Abia State visited me few days later and l related the dream encounter to him. He promised to take me to his church. When we got to his church, it turned out to be the Lord’s Chosen. I then started worshipping with the ministry.

After sometime, I started asking myself why I should convert to Christianity simply because of children.

Then our Lord Jesus Christ appeared to me and told me that if I wanted to make heaven at last, it is through The Lord’s Chosen I will be able to achieve the feat. He advised me to continue worshipping at The Lord’s Chosen.

As a truck driver and God delivered me from an attack. There was a day, I boarded the truck and wanted to start the ignition, but my spirit led me to pray.

I then made a simple prayer thus: “If there is anything evil in this motor, I pray that our Lord Jesus Christ will chase it out.” After making this short prayer, a pussycat jumped out from the vehicle. Before I knew it, the cat disappeared. This, I considered a big victory from the attack of the enemy.

Again, God delivered me from initiation and destruction from the occult kingdom. It was in a dream. I was taken into a kingdom and they said they would kill me. I told them I am a Chosen, hence they could not kill me. As I said this, the kingdom turned upside down. God of Chosen has been fighting on my behalf and giving me victory from all angles. I thank God for all He has been doing in my life.

May the name of the Lord be glorified! Praise the Lord! Brother Suleiman

Lord’s Chosen Holds Special Easter Programme

THelord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries’ special two- day Easter programme tagged: God’s Covenant Of Peace and Blessing holds between April 3 and 4, 2021, at the Chosen Revival Ground, along Oshodi- Apapa Expressway, by Ijesha, Bus Stop, Lagos, beginning from 8am daily.

The special programme, according to General Overseer of the church, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, is divinely inspired to help bring to mind the significant of Easter, which symbolises the victory of Jesus Christ over death and which by extension, is the victory over hopelessness and misery. It is at Easter that we are reminded of how God sent His Son to die as a sacrifice for all our sins in order to rescue us from the impending destruction that has been meted out as punishment for us as a result of the sin of Adam and Eve. Accordingly, by His death and resurrection, the covenant of peace and blessing, which mankind originally had with God at creation is restored. Christ thus became the great sacrifice for our peace and blessing.

The General Overseer added, “Easter, therefore, brings that optimism that no matter how difficult or challenging a situation or condition may be, having knowledge of the resurrection will remind you that if Jesus could defeat death, then all things are possible. It also suggests that as bad as the prevailing situation might appear, there is the expectation that things will get better if we accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour.”
