Covers Africa Winner To Get N10 Million Worth Of Prizes

SO, what if there was an opportunit­y for super talented people to channel the music artistry of their favourite superstars by performing brilliant covers of those original pieces? Of course, there is and the organisers made sure that the stage is all set for those who have the courage to follow their dreams.

Covers Africa, a hundred per cent indigenous music talent show for young Nigerians, to celebrate their icons whilst also showcasing their music prowess, will be splashing N10million naira worth of prizes on the eventual winner of the competitio­n.

The African premium talent hunt competitio­n for vocal stars and cover champions has listed Ben Ogbeiwi ( The Music Sensei), Efe Macroc ( The Chord Fingers), Modupe Ige Kachi ( The Vocal Nightingal­e) and Sound Sultan ( Naija Ninja) as judges for its debut edition tagged The Rise of Vocal Delivery, will be premiering May 21 on Soundcity ( DSTV 327/ GOTV 75 and Silverbird TV ( DSTV

252/ GOTV 92).

Director of Administra­tion, Rising Star Powerhouse and Head of Strategy Media and Publicity for Covers Africa, Ubong Kardynal, said, “Entry for the competitio­n is now open for Nigerians with dynamic vocal deftness and music adroitness. We will be looking for the next Nigerian vocal star and covers champion.
