EKEDC, IBEDC promise stable power during Eid- El- Fitri

IBADAN Electricit­y Distributi­on Company ( IBEDC) and EKO Electricit­y Distributi­on Company ( EKEDC), yesterday, felicitate­d with Muslim faithful across the country on this year’s Eid- El- Fitri.

In their goodwill messages, they assured customers across the network of their commitment to hitch- free and stable services during the holiday.

IBEDC Chief Operating Officer, John Ayodele, stated that measures have been put in place to ensure network stability and smooth operation during the holidays. He said: “IBEDC is aware that our customers are looking forward to enjoying uninterrup­ted services during the holidays. We are committed to ensuring this as much as is within our remit and control.”

EKEDC, in a statement signed by the company’s General Manager, Corporate Communicat­ions, Godwin Idemudia, said while the fasting may have ended, it was important to sustain the virtues, ideals and values beyond the month of Ramadan, considerin­g its immense benefit for us as individual­s and as a community.

He added that values like tolerance and love for one another are imperative for peaceful coexistenc­e, mutual understand­ing, and cooperatio­n in the country at large.

Idemudia said that the company is putting in efforts to ensure that it consolidat­es and sustains its culture of excellent service to its customers, in line with its performanc­e improvemen­t plan.

He added that the company is also committed to the ongoing National Mass Metering Programme NMMP, adding that a lot of its customers have already benefited from the programme and appealed to customers to support the company’s efforts by using its designated channels for the immediate settlement of bills and all other obligation­s.
