TEETH 4 TEETH ...

That Crime Fighters TV Show

IF you are a follower of the television programme titled Crime Fighters, and you are not bored by now, then you are a very loyal follower.

For sometime now, the repetition of two particular episodes, one of a scam artist who duped two female bankers of millions of naira in a romance scam and that of how a baby factory syndicate was busted by the police, is annoying.

These two episodes have been so repeated on the DSTV Africamagic Family channel that one is wondering what exactly is happening. If the producers cannot shoot new episodes, why is the Pay TV outfit still repeating these two episodes like its life depended on them?

This is an appeal to the producers of Crime Fighters, please submit new tapes for airing, and for DSTV, kindly rest the programme for now and show viewers who pay their hard earned monies to keep you afloat, new content; don’t kill us with repetitions.

Chidinma, Latest Nollywood ‘ Star’

T4T was shocked to see a video of Chidinma Ojukwu, the 21- year- old murder suspect online during the week. She had earlier on arrest, confessed on camera before the media, to the killing of the Super TV boss, Usifo Ataga, who according to her, both of them were in a love affair.

But this latest video interview was like a celebrity being interviewed. She was all made up, and looking well rested and pretty. The person who edited the video deserves an Oscars for the Best Editor award.

In the video, Chidinma who appeared well coached, was even at some point, chuckling, smiling broadly and throwing banters at the interviewer. In fact, if you never knew she was facing a first- degree murder charge, you would think she was a new Nollywood super star whose movie made the box office!

T4T is not concerned about her change of story about what transpired at the apartment building where Ataga was killed, what is troubling is the fact that this is someone who is still supposed to be in police custody awaiting her day in court, so, who arranged for her to have that Nollywood- like celebrity interview? The police or a very powerful unseen person?

The police authorities must get to the root of this embarrassing interview or very soon, we may see Evans, the convicted billionaire kidnapper in this kind of video. And will you be surprised to see Rev Kings who in Death Row pleading his case in a video interview too?

For what it is worth, T4T commends the police or whoever arranged that interview for Chidinma to plead her case even before trial starts, for a job well done. Nice try, we now have a new Nollywood kid on the block.

Mike Okri’s New Vocation

MIKE Okri was a big Nigerian star in the late 80s through the 90s. He was so big, Mike became legendary, until his career dimmed and had to relocate to the US. He is still trying to gather the pieces of his career since he decided to stage a comeback to the Nigerian music scene some couple of years ago.

That is, however, not the story here. Mike may have found a new vocation while still chasing his music career. Some days ago, he decided to take his camera to the home of one of the biggest nite club owners in Nigeria, Mr Ken Caleb Olumese, the man who owned the now rested Niteshift Coliseum.

Popularly called ‘ The Guv’nor’, Olumese changed the face of night clubbing in Nigeria until he had to retire due to ‘ old age’.

Now, back to Mike Okri. The musician was live on Facebook with the Guv’nor as he showered praises on him. He told younger generation what Olumese did to nightclubbing in Nigeria and Africa. The Guv’was just smiling in the video.

Mike would do well as a ‘ hype man’ if he decides to add that vocation to his music.

What You Should Know About The Guv’nor

AFTER watching the video of Mike Okri with Ken Caleb Olumese, the Guv’nor, T4T decided to quickly go through his phone to check if he still had the Guv’nor’s mobile number. Alas, it was there. It took just one ring and he took the call. “Justin, how are you?”

What, the man still had my number after over seven years that we have not spoken on phone? T4T expressed surprise that the Guv’nor still had his number.

In that familiar tone many of us who frequented Niteshift Coliseum back in the day are used to, he said: “I don’t forget my friends”.

So, know from today that Ken Caleb Olumese aka the Guv’nor, does not forget his friends. Just so you know, T4T is having lunch with the Guv’nor next week at his Lekki home. You, yes, I mean you reading this will get to know more about the retired club owner.

And That Yoruba Movie Takes First Prize T4T was watching this Yoruba movie titled Omo Onidan and was praying that the subtitle person won’t drop an atomic bomb, but I was wrong.

Mid way into the movie, an actor was describing a chaotic situation to another actor and this was what the subtitle served viewers.

“Every where was burning and people were running ‘ shelter scatter’.”

T4T fainted!
