- By Daniel Anazia

WIthafrobeat taking the centre stage in the world, Nigerian- born UKbased afro- fusion singer, Oluyole Oluwaseun, who is popularly known in the entertainment industry as Sean Dampte, is working to become a household name and brand in Nigeria and across the globe.

The Savage Music act publicist, Eniola Chazy Alashi, noted that despite the success made so far by the brand Sean Dampte, more still have to be done to firmly stamp his musical authority in the entertainment industry.

“Music is a known art that transcends culture, race, gender and every other thing in between. Not only does it heal us, it also connects us. Hence, Sean Dampte is taking this music bond to a new dimension.”

Chazy said that with unparalleled passion and drive, the singer was working round the clock to make sure good music is served to music buffs.

“Sean Dampte has embarked on a journey that definitely would sooner than later earn him a Grammy attention. His music is fast gaining acceptance around the world. We all can testify to the big bang of Afrobeats and the United Kingdom being a major hub for this genre, and artistes like Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy selling out multiple locations in London,” he stated.

Chazy also hinted that the Dampte’s new Extended Playlist ( EP) titled Baba Won - Awoodah, is set for release, though the date will be announced later. According to him, the collaboration with Nizzy and Buju on the lead single, Pe Pe - Remix, makes it a treat for fans.
