GOD’S Kingdom Society ( GKS), The Church of the Living God, has appointed a long- standing minister of the church, Brother Felix Ekundayo Adedokun, as new President of the organisation.

Other appointees, according to a statement by the Assembly of the Lord’s Ministry Elders ( ALME) - the appointing authority into the Executive Board of the Church - are: former General Secretary, Brother Tariola Michael Ekiseowei, who now serves as Vice President and former Publicity Secretary, Brother Benedict Tamunotonyesigha Hart, who becomes the General Secretary. Another senior minister, Brother Theophilus Iwoh, has been co- opted into the executive board.

The rest are Brother Samuel Chidinma Nwaeke, who is now a Trustee o and Brother Ogechukwu Emmanuel Oriaku, now Acting Publicity Secretary.

It will be recalled that the Church, on April 22, 2021, lost its former President, Brother Godwin O. Ifeacho, who was buried on June 26, 2021. Following his death, the church deemed it necessary to appoint new officers.

Adedokun, who was born into the faith of God’s Kingdom Society, hails from Awe in Afijio Local Council of Oyo State. He was adopted as a minister in 1965 and had been Vice President since 2016 until his recent appointment.

Ekiseowei was adopted as minister in 1997. He hails from Trofani in Sagbama Local Council of Bayelsa State. Hart was elevated to the position of Member of the Executive Board of the Church in 2019. Iwoh had been Station Minister at various branches of the church. He, like Hart, hails from Bonny in Rivers State.

The new officers will be inducted into office on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at the church headquarters in Salem City, Warri, Delta State.
