Binance Becomes Official Sponsor Of Totalenergies AFCON 2021

BINANCE,

a blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrency exchange, has announced its partnership with the Confederation of African Football ( CAF), as an official sponsor of the 2021 Totalenergies Africa Cup of Nations ( AFCON) tournament.

The global brand brought in its technology to the African football event that kicked off on January 9 to run till February 6, 2022 at Olembe Stadium in Yaounde, with the host country, Cameroun facing Burkina Faso.

This sponsorship deal makes Binance the exclusive cryptocurrency and blockchain platform for the AFCON 2021 tournament and marks the first time it will sponsor a large- scale football event.

Binance will also be the official partner of the Assist of the Day / Binance Assist of the Week / Binance Assist of the Tournament, which will be promoted across CAF’S social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tiktok and across all six venues in five cities in Cameroun.

In his remark, CAF’S General Secretary, Veron MosengoOmba, said, “I am delighted to welcome Binance as an official sponsor of the AFCON tournament this year. Through this partnership with CAF, Binance will further connect with its users and the African community through football.
