SAFETY Babes coach, Innocent Chukwuma, has revealed that his team will organise a post- mortem on the just- concluded Phase One of the Prudent Energy Handball Premier League as they bid to win the title..

Defending champions, Corp Marshall, finished as leaders in the women category of the premier league, whose second phase holds in September.

Speaking to The Guardian yesterday, Chukwuma said the post- mortem was necessary because of the need for proper assessment of the team’s overall performance at the last championship, adding that Safety Babes must improve if it desired to win the title.

“We want to give thanks to God Almighty for our success during the first phase of the Prudent Energy Premier League. We want to appreciate the Corp Marshall that made our feat possible in terms of the motivation the team has enjoyed.

“The battle is not yet over, as the race has just begun because the second phase is most likely to determine the eventual winners. Absolutely, team and individual discipline has brought us to where we are and we will continue to observe zero tolerance to indiscipline both on the court and off the court.

“In the post- mortem, we will look at things that we did that are not proper and the ones that are right.

“Feedbacks at the postmortem is not only going to come from the team members alone. We are also going to get inputs from our fans, even our foes, and journalists, who covered the event for us to know what we have done right and otherwise to see how we can improve on our performances before the start of the second phase,” he stated.
