Kizz Danielcoughs At Qatar

-

GLobalhitmaker, Kizz Daniel is now living the realities of prayers answered, as he performed at the FIFA Fan Festival, at the sidelines of the world cup championship in Qatar. Thrilling over 50,000 multilingual fans at the Al Bidda Park, on Wednesday night, the Nigerian superstar sang his viral hits, including

Cough, Buga, One Ticket,

among others to the delight of the entire world.

From the looks of things, the crowd loved the entire show, as Kizz Daniel performed alongside a live band. The singer, alongside Patoranking, are the only Nigerian artistes booked to perform at the globally revered football event. Interestingly, Kizz Daniel also paid tribute to the Afrobeat pioneer, Fela Kuti, by performing his 1972 bop,

African Woman.

Recall that Kizz Daniel, had, in June, tweeted: “God, I want to perform Buga for the World Cup with a Mass Choir. Help me say amen,” and weeks after, he confirmed that his prayers had been answered when he retweeted his initial post with the comment, “And the Lord said, see you in Qatar.”

With the release of his acclaimed project, Barnabas, exactly a year ago, Kizz Daniel has enjoyed a year of meteoric rise with several globally- charting follow- up releases and other significant record sales.

After his outing at Qatar, the young singer is expected to climax his Afroclassic World Tour, in Lagos, on December 17, at the Eko Convention Centre. With several sold- out tours in the United Kingdom, United States, and across Eastern Africa, it is delightful to see the singer come back home to thrill his homebase with his ‘ cough’- laden hits.
