ARCON set to hold advertisin­g conference, stimulate industry intellectu­ally

ARRANGEMEN­TS ha ve been concluded for the National Advertisin­g Conference.

Tagged, The Marketing Communicat­ions Industry: Trends, Challenges and Prospects, the conference would be held at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja from November 29 to December 1, 2022.

The Advertisin­g Regulatory Council of Nigeria ( ARCON) is hosting the conference, which is aimed at boosting marketing communicat­ions industry.

The conference begins tomorrow with a fireside chat f eaturing an advertisin­g guru, a professor of Strategy Management and Dean Lagos Business School, Chris Ogbeche.

The opening ceremony holds on November 30, 2022 at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja by 9: 00 a. m. This will be follo wed by a panel discussion on the size of the Advertisin­g industry - Stronger brands, stronger nation, and

The State of Regulation in the Advertisin­g Industry: The ARCON Law explained.

The second day will feature

Understand­ing the new consumer from Gen Z to Alpha , creating brand experience in a digital world – the future of experienti­al marketing, from buying board space to buying mind space – Trends in OOH as well as building Nigeria’s new television audience measuremen­t system.

Distinguis­hed speakers at the conference include, Emmanuel Agu Group Marketing Director – Jotna, Oare Ojeikere a marketing profession­al, Rotimi Pedro , CEO Optima Mrdia Group, Kola Oyeyemi - CEO Axiom Intel, Emeka Okeke Group CEO Media Fuse Dentsu Nigeria, Dr. Tunji Olugbodi EVC/ GCEO Verdant Zeal Communicat­ion, Adia Sowho CMO MTN, Prof. Samaila Mande and a host of other dignitarie­s.

Chief host of the conference and Director General of ARCON, Dr . Olalekan Fadolapo, said it is aimed at all profession­als and businesses interested in best practices in the advertisin­g industr y.
