Former Cultist, Repentant Armed Robber, Now Preaches The Gospel

-

MY name is brother S. Onuoha. I am from Imo State and I am very happy to be a member of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries. I joined this great movement this year, precisely February 10, 2024. Before joining, l was living a very rough life; in fact, I was a cultist. As a result of the commotion we caused in Port Harcourt, I relocated to Lagos where l joined another more dangerous gang — armed robbery. We have robbed different people in different locations in the state. One fateful day, we were returning home from operation in Badagry area, when ran into a band of police, customs and soldiers and had to engage them in gun duel. The battle claimed the lives of all my colleagues, while l only sustained bullet wounds.

The security operatives took us — the corpses and I — to Panti State CID, where I was interrogated and detained. My detainment in police custody lasted for eight years, especially as I was from there taken to the high court on regular basis for further interrogations.

However, after the many adjournments of my case, the judge at the very day l was to be sentenced or perhaps hung to death, acquitted me… P- r- a- i- s- e, the Lord! Before this time, a lady had come to preach to us in Badagry prison where I was detained and after preaching, she made an altar call and l was among those that came out to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ, as Lord and Saviour. The sister prayed for us and said: “God of Chosen would set you all free in Jesus’ name and we all echoed, Am- e- n!”

When we went to court that fateful day, the judge after listening to our cross- examinations began to write endlessly on her paper. When she finally stopped, she said: “l hereby, with my prerogative power, discharge and acquit you.” As soon as l heard this, I fainted. When l regained consciousness and came out of the courtroom, l made up my mind to truly serve God who gave me a second chance to live. Immediately, l began to preach Christ, the little way l could.

After preaching in a particular street in Oshodi, a brother saw me and invited me to a programme in the Lord’s

Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries, which is the reason I am here, today. I have made up my mind to serve this God till the end of time. P- r- a- i- s- e, the Lord!
