“Wealth and riches are in his house, And his righteousn­ess endures forever.”

Philippian­s 4: 19: “And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”

Isaiah 45: 3: “I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden wealth of secret places, So that you may know that it is I, The Lord, the God of Israel, who calls you by your name.” Proverbs 3: 16:“Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honour.”

Proverbs 23: 5:“When you set your eyes on it, it is gone. For wealth certainly makes itself wings like an eagle that flies toward the heavens.”

Proverbs 22: 1: “A good name is to be more desired than great wealth, favour is better than silver and gold.”

Ecclesiast­es 5: 19: “Furthermor­e, as for every man to whom God has given riches and wealth, He has also empowered him to eat from them and to receive his reward and rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.”

Proverbs 8: 18: “Riches and honour are with me, enduring wealth and righteousn­ess.”

Matthew 6: 19: “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.”

1Timothy 6: 17: “Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertaint­y of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy.”

Ways To Deny Yourself

1. Desire to serve rather than being served ( Mark 10: 42

45).

2. Total obedience to God ( Heb. 11: 8).

3. Living by God’s rule rather than ours ( John 14: 23- 24).

4. Give up every form of grudges ( Col3: 13).

5. Sacrificin­g self and ego ( Phil2: 3- 4).

6. Respect to God’s standard of expressing one’s sexuality ( 1Cor. 6: 18- 20).

7. Total obedience to authority either of God or man ( 1Peter 2: 13- 15).

8. Seeing all we own as God’s ( 1Corinth 4: 7, 6: 19- 20).

9. Readiness to will our will to God’s will.

Conclusion

Jeremiah 17: 7- 8: “But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay
