God Will Do It Again

John 14: 13- 14: “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14: If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.”

THE

essence of the power of God is for the benefit of the people that trust and depend on Him for their provisions, protection and deliverance from the bondage of the devil. God’s power was originally demonstrated in the creation of the earth and everything therein including human beings. There was no exertion of force, rather God was issuing statements and things were coming into existence with ease and in perfection. This is a typical demonstration of power in the highest level.

Again, in the days of Abraham, the promises He made were perfectly fulfilled based on the obedience and worship of the former. When He instructed Abraham to leave his country and his people and move to the land He, God, will show him; Abraham obeyed the instruction and God gave him the land as promised. God does not fail in His promises because He has the power and the resources to fulfill whatever He says, that is why He made this statement in Isaiah 44: 24- 27: “Thus saith the Lord, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the Lord that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself. 25: That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish. 26: That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof. 27: That saith to the deep, be dry, and I will dry up thy rivers.”

There is no impossibility in God’s sanctuary. The only demand He makes from us, His creatures is obedience and when we call upon Him in relation to our needs He answers according to His will.

Going down the memory lane, He answered and rescued the Israelites from the land of bondage in Egypt, when they called and cried unto Him. His response was recorded in Exodus 3: 6- 10 saying: “Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God. 7: And the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows. 8: And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites. 9: Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them. 10: Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.”

Amid affliction and wickedness in Egypt, the Israelites needed deliverance and as they cried unto God He answered by sending Moses to demand for their release from Pharaoh, the King of Egypt. When Pharaoh proved stubborn based on his fear of losing the free labour the Israelites were forced to provide, God followed it up with series of plagues; 10 of them, ranging from turning water into blood, sending flies all over Egypt, bringing lice, darkness, frog and

many others, which culminated into the death of every first son of Egyptian citizen. At the end of these ten plagues, especially the death of first sons of Egypt, Pharaoh was forced to grant unconditional release of the Israelites. God proved to him that power belongs to Him and that power can be demonstrated positively or negatively depending on the need at a particular time. Whenever God wants to carry out any project, no force has the capacity to challenge or stop Him. He starts and concludes any project to His taste and pleasure, that is why He made it clear in Isaiah 43: 10- 13 saying: “Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. 11: I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour. 12: I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, that I am God. 13: Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?”

Since nothing stops God from executing His project at His pleasure, what He does today can be repeated if the need arises. He said if we call on Him in times of need that He will answer us. The Israelites called Him when they were suffering under the Egyptian taskmasters and He answered and delivered them. When Job was passing through trials, He called God and said that even in his rotten flesh, he will see God. And true to his faith, God answered Him and restored to him twice all that he had lost in the course of his trials.

Hannah prayed to God for a male child and God granted her request; God answered Elizabeth and gave her a male child.

He answered Abraham by giving him the promised child and blessed him in all things ( Matt 19v26). God can do all things and He has the power to do it again and again as long as there is need for it.

In the lead scripture He makes it clear that whatever we ask from Him will be done, so that, the father will be glorified in the son. In the course of serving Him in the Lord’s Chosen Charismati Revival Church, we have witnessed the mighty moves of God’s hand manifesting in the healing of all kinds of sicknesses, breaking the yoke of barrenness and poverty, deliverance from the bondage of the devil, among many others.

As He has done all these in time past, He has the capacity to do them again and again. In your situation, call on Him and He will answer you in accordance with your needs. God has demonstrated power of healing in many ways in the Bible days. He has this for lepers in Luke 17: 12- 15, saying: “And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off. 13: And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. 14: And when he saw them, he said unto them, ' go shew yourselves unto the priests.' And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. 15: And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God.”

The Bible is awash with healings and deliverances of all classes. No sickness encounters the power of God and survives; the victim must be free! As you come into the presence of God anytime and anywhere, present your need before Him, and He will repeat what He did in the Bible days in your life. God does not change and will not change in your own case. Have faith in the Lord, present your problems in faithful prayer to Him and He will answer you in Jesus' name.

And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off.
