THE Circuit Overseer of Jehovah's Witnesses, Lekki, Lagos, Brother Kehindeakindele, has called on Christians to wait patiently for God's kingdom as the only solution to human challenges.

He made the call at the oneday Circuit Assembly organised for English congregations by the governing body of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Lekki.

Brother Akindele, who said some people are faced with health concerns, loneliness, unemployment and loss of beloved ones, among others, advised the delegates to continue in good deeds and obey theinstructions ofjehovah and the laws of the land, stressing that they should avoid the catchphrase, "l will not agree for anybody." Citing Dan 2 verse 44, he encouraged members not to lose hope, no matter what they are passing through, adding that God's kingdom is the total solution to the problems ofmankind.

Another official, Brother ldowu Paul who attributed the current hardship in the land to some Bible prophecies said, the Bible prophecies had been fulfilled while others are yet to be fulfilled. He said: "Since we are experiencing the great tribulation, we are encouraged to do more in our learning of God's word and doing more spiritual activities. We must look up to Jehovah God and increase our trust in him deeply."

Paul noted that Bible principles would help them make good decisions in all spheres of life. He urged them to preach the good news, stay busy in God's service, while helping others to attain godly goals. Addressing the newly baptised candidates, Brother Ajibadeajibola explained that dedicating their lives and symbolising it with baptism means changing from old personality to a new one and doing more in God's service.

He urged the delegate not to be distracted by the physical sufferings, pains and ridicules, but remain steadfast, and wait for God's blessings, if they do not give up.

Brother Ajibola admonished them to always visit JW website(watch-tract Society), download and use spiritual materials and get advice from congregational elders as encouragement. The event featured Watchtower reading, answer session, demonstrations, kingdom works videos, experiences, life session of the 10 baptismal candidates among others.
