Liverpool have a history of facing Man United in the FA Cup, but the two haven’t met since 2021. The last meeting between the two teams took place at Old Trafford, with United triumphing 3- 2, thanks to a 78th- minute free kick from Portuguese maestro Bruno Fernandes. That remains Liverpool’s only meeting in the FA Cup against Man United in the Jürgen Klopp era. The last win over their bitter rivals in the competitio­n came in January 2012, where goals from Daniel Agger and Dirk Kuyt secured a 2- 1 win at Anfield. The two teams will lock horns again in the Premier League in three weeks’ time, with Liverpool looking to keep up the pace with title challenger­s Arsenal and Man City, while Man United will be aiming to push for a top four spot.
