The Mystery Of Wickedness ( 1)

AYOUNG couple came to me sometime ago, weeping. They said that whenever their children get to one year, they would hear the cry of a hawk by their window at midnight. By the following morning the child will be dead. This evil occurrence repeated itself and three of their children died on their first birthday. I engaged them in spiritual warfare prayers and the evil occurrence was terminated while the personality behind the hawk was exposed.

grandchildren. This, indeed, is the mystery of wickedness.

The passage we read from the book of kings tells us how two women agreed to eat their sons in turns. They ate the first woman’s son and when it was time for the second woman to donate her son, she refused. They had to drag themselves to the king for intervention. This is great wickedness.

Wickedness is the act of being evil or the quality of being cruel, Jer 17: 9. It is a practice that is devoid of moral or spiritual values. That is why we must focus on building values in our children and youth, so that, we can have a healthier and better society.

Today, we see young adults involved in ritual killings, yahoo yahoo plus, kidnapping and other wicked practices. These are partly the result of bad upbringing. Build values in your family, so that, you as parents can have peace of mind. The Bible admonishes us to train up a child in the way he should go, so, when he is old, he will not depart from it ( Prov 22: 6).

1 Jn 5: 19 tells us that the whole world lies in wickedness. There are some levels of wickedness that we can see in the physical, while some are only seen in the spirit realm. Psa 74: 20 says your covenant relationship with God is what can exempt you from the wickedness of this world, so, you must respect the covenant. Many believers today are breaking the covenant by getting involved in all kinds of sinful acts hence they become victims of the wickedness of the world. You must run away from sin, fortify yourself with the word of God and be prayerful. As a child of God, your life must reflect good moral and spiritual values and this should begin from the home while the church and larger society give their support. Wickedness is a spirit and it has a dwelling place ( Zach 5: 5- 11).

The people gathered here at Shinar, which means conspiracy, to perform their evil acts. That is why wherever there is a conspiracy, wickedness abounds.

I pray for you according to Isa 8: 9- 10, that every evil association against you shall be scattered and their counsel shall become null and void in Jesus' name.

Prayer Points

• O Lord, whosoever is sponsoring wickedness in my life, may they receive judgment of fire in Jesus' name.

• Vampires of the night assigned to feed on my blood, die in Jesus' name.

• Every evil association against me, scatter by fire.

• Every form of wickedness in my life, expire by fire.

• O Lord, frustrate every conspiracy of the wicked over my life in Jesus' name.
