- Olukoya By Ayoyinka Jegede

THE General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries ( MFM), Dr Daniel Olukoya has urged citizens to depend on God for deliverance amidst several challenges confronting the nation.

He spoke during the recent mega crusade held by the church in Benin City, Edo State capital.

The crusade, characterised by fervent prayers, attracted a large congregation seeking divine intervention and spiritual renewal.

It was held at the Sports Complex of the University of Benin and was described as “one of the biggest gatherings” held by the church in the Midwest axis.

At the event themed: “The Great Deliverance,” the General Overseer of MFM, also unveiled eight different regional headquarters of the church across the state. The Guardian learnt that the crusade was in line with the Explosive Evangelism Initiative of the General Overseer aimed at capturing the world for Christ, and healing the country and individuals with diverse challenges, especially those in need of deliverance.

In his sermon taken from

Psalm 56: 9, titled: “The Cry for Deliverance,” Olukoya urged citizens to look up to God for the solution to their problems and have faith in him for deliverance.

According to him, the surest way out of the myriads of challenges bedeviling individuals and the country at large is to cry to God for solution and deliverance.

He said: “Wicked enemies whose desire is to see that one ends in the grave need to be dealt with, by deliverance prayers.

“A lot of people are going through a lot of troubles right now. They are having suicidal thoughts, experiencing internal chains, constant bad dreams, night oppression, sicknesses, defeat at the edge of their breakthroughs, and all- round attacks.’’
