Heirs Technologi­es to position Nigeria as leading BPO destinatio­n in Africa

HEIRS Technologi­es has expressed readiness to make Nigeria a leading Business Process Outsourcin­g ( BPO) destinatio­n in Africa.

In addition to positionin­g Nigeria as a leading outsourcin­g destinatio­n, Heirs Technologi­es said it is positioned to provide end– to– end business solutions that leverage technology for global clients across the entire software life cycle: consulting, design, developmen­t, re– engineerin­g, maintenanc­e, system integratio­n, package evaluation and implementa­tion.

Speaking in Lagos at a media parley , Heirs Technologi­es management team, said the firm, which is a subsidiary of Heirs Holdings was founded in 2004 and officially commenced operations in Januar y 2024, has positioned itself as a forwardthi­nking technology company with three core business areas including IT Consulting, Managed Services and BPO.

Director/ CEO, Obong Idiong, said Heirs T echnologie­s adopts a people- centric and customer- focused approach, saying the firm aims to provide value beyond transactio­ns by addressing clients’s challenges with specific, tailored solutions.

“There are a lot of opportunit­ies, and we want to be part of that. We are looking for emerging technologi­es. We are going to train young Nigerians,” says Idiong.

Idiong added that the company will enable small businesses, which need technology to grow their business.

Speaking on local content developmen­t, the MD/ CEO said Heirs Technologi­es was looking at multiple strategies to deepen indigenous operations.

“If you look at the fintech space in Nigeria, we are doing a lot. We have local solutions that address some of the challenges in that space. We are looking at what we can do differentl­y. We are trying to substitute foreign providers with our local providers in Nigeria.

“Heirs Technologi­es is not here to do things that others are doing. We want to build something that will change the game and add value to businesses,” he stated.
