TO safeguard the welfare of its populace, Anthony Village Ngchuks Lions Club in District 404A3 Nigeria ( Region4) has supported residents of Anthony Village, Lagos, with a comprehensive medical care programme that will cover all forms of treatments.

The club’s Chartered President, James Uwuseba, underscored the importance of health, encouraging all individuals to prioritise their well- being.

He said if everyone is healthy, they can contribute to the growth of the society and Nigeria at large.

“The medical care is a way to touch more lives in the community.”

Uwuseba stressed the importance of regular medical checkups.

“They need to do regular screening, check their blood pressures always, check to know if they have diabetes, because if they don’t know, and they have any of these ailments, it becomes a problem, but when they know of these ailments, they would be able take their drugs regularly. Health is critical, so this clinic is for people to identify what kind of ailment they are suffering from,” he advised.

Felicia Obillor, a candidate for the second vice district governor, disclosed that the club is collaborating with Gbagada General Hospital where patients will be referred to if the club’s medical team can’t handle a situation.

The President of Anthony Village Ngchuks Lions Club, Ngozi Pascal Okoye urged Nigerians to always make themselves available for medical opportunities.

The beneficiaries thanked the club for their kind gesture, expressing joy as they had always wanted to check their blood pressure, sugar level, and others before now.
