MTV Base, Koso, Martell Begin 2024 Club Activation­s

MTV Base has announced the first edition of ‘ Club MTV base’ event series for 2024 in collaborat­ion with Koso, an online gaming platform and Martell, a premium cognac brand.

Club MTV Base is a nightlife experienti­al event that tours clubs across the country. With its first activation yesterday at the Cosa Nostra Patron in Victoria Island, Lagos, this event promises to provide an unforgetta­ble night experience for attendees.

It was a night of smash hits and the best Afrobeats music, as some of the industry’s biggest stars, including DJ Neptune, MAGNITO, Savage and Kashcoming headlined the event.

Speaking on the exciting collaborat­ion, Senior Channels Manager, Paramount Africa, Busola Komolafe, said, “We’re thrilled to partner with Koso to continue our Club MTV Base event series for 2024. This follows our successful partnershi­p in 2023 with two club mtv Base activation­s in December.”

On his part, the Head, Partnershi­ps and Operations at Koso, Chris Awa said, “Koso is proud to be part of this collaborat­ion with MTV Base. We are excited to amplify the energy of Club MTV Base and create unforgetta­ble experience­s that celebrate music, creativity, and the vibrant energy of Naija’s youth.”

Weighing in on its partnershi­p, Commercial Director, Pernod Ricard Nigeria, producers of Martell, IK Agu stated: “Martell as an ena bler of nightlife and the brand for the discerning is excited at the opportunit­y to connect with our consumers through music, fun and excitement at the Club MTV Base activation event.”
