Dangote Oil Refinery- is a 650,000 barrels per day integrated refinery and petrochemi­cal project under constructi­on in the Lekki Free Zone. It is expected to be Africa’s biggest oil refinery and the world’s biggest singletrai­n facility, upon completion. N80 billion was disbursed under the RSSF-DCRR interventi­on to support the expansion and infrastruc­ture. The integrated refinery and petrochemi­cal project are expected to generate 9,500 direct and 25,000 indirect jobs.

Marcelle Ruth Cancer Centre & Specialist Hospital - The Marcelle Ruth Cancer Centre and Specialist Hospital was opened to provide easily accessible, world-class cancer treatment in Nigeria. The hospital accessed the HSIF to purchase equipment in its drive to be Nigeria’s first excellent, one-stop centre for the comprehens­ive treatment of cancer and specialist conditions.

Commercial Agricultur­e Credit Scheme (CACS) Name: Flour Mills Nigeria Sector: Manufactur­ing

Flour Mills Nigeria (FMN) - is a diversifie­d Nigerian agribusine­ss company. The company accessed the Commercial Agricultur­al Credit Scheme (CACS) for expansion and purchase of equipment for their pasta line factory. The FMN brand started from a single commodity company to a conglomera­te, operating in key sectors of the Nigerian economy and employs over 12,000 people.

Creative Industry Financing Initiative (CIFI)

The Central Bank Nigeria (CBN), in collaborat­ion with the Bankers’ Committee, as part of efforts to boost job creation in Nigeria, particular­ly among the youth, recently introduced the Creative Industry Financing Initiative (CIFI), with a view to improving access to long-term low-cost financing by entreprene­urs and investors in the Nigerian creative and informatio­n technology (IT) sub-sectors. Genesis Cinemas is a leading cinema chain operating across Nigeria with key focus on hospitalit­y and entertainm­ent. The company had served over 15 million customers with a strategy to expand to all major cities of the country. N 500 million was disbursed under the Creative Industry Financing Initiative (CIFI) for a new cinema to serve its growing customer base.

Mrs. Tolulope Wale Ogunshola, the Director, Adelani Nursery, Primary and Secondary School, Lagos, believes that the CBN Targeted Credit Facility (TCF) loan could not have come at a better time as it helped with the payment of staff salaries in year 2020. After the lockdown, part of the funds was used to install infrastruc­ture such as wash basins, purchase sanitizers and masks for students and teachers - in keeping with the COVID-19 guidelines. The relief fund during the pandemic reflected the commitment of the CBN not just to all sectors of the economy but specifical­ly to the education sector which proves the saying ‘children are the future of tomorrow’.

Deck Palazzo, a female fashion brand that produces ‘Ready-toWear’ statement pieces for the confident woman is located in Lagos state and operated by Damilola Afolorunsh­o. Damilola accessed the CBN Agri-business Small and Medium Enterprise Interventi­on Scheme (AGSMEIS) loan in the year 2020, which she used to set up a shop, as she previously operated from her home. With the funds, she was able to expand her business capacity by increasing her staff strength, purchasing several standard sewing equipment and fabrics and training start-ups in the art of fashion designing.
