Worst fashion moment

The worst fashion moment that comes to mind happened to me years back whilst I was in London. This incident is still so vivid in my memory like it was just yesterday. I attended a friend’s party on a Friday night all clad up in a lovely grey Karen Millen Fur jacket and a pleated skirt from Morgan with shoes from Bruno Magli. When I made my entrance into the party I got a lot of compliments from people on how good I looked. I was really chuffed. The night ended and I went home. The next day, I had a boat cruise party to attend. While sorting out what to wear for the party with the help of my mum who had just arrived from Lagos, she saw the outfit I wore the night before and loved it completely. She then suggested I wore it again. I deliberated with her saying I just wore it the previous night so I didn’t think it was a good idea. On second thought, I was like it’s a totally different click of people so it really didn’t matter. I was one of the last people to get on board. As I entered, I saw two people from the previous night and I just shook it off as I was not close to them. I became more uncomfortable as it became apparent that 90 percent of the guests from the night before were also on board this boat cruise. The gaze of people on me said a thousand words without them speaking. I felt the need to start telling my friends and anyone that cared to listen why I was in the same outfit from the night before. It was so embarrassing for me that I withdrew to a secluded corner and was waited anxiously to get off the boat! It was a night to remember for me and nothing has topped that since.
