When I was much younger,

I did not need to break a bank to look good. And even up till now, I still do not see the need to but of course with age, I now prefer to invest more in timeless pieces that can stand the test of time and as such, is well worth the investment. But such expenditures only happen when you can afford it. It does not have to be so in all cases especially when you are still in your 20s or even 30s and a pace setter but not yet a style icon. At this age, there is so much more you can do within your budget to look on top of your game. It also helps that you have the silhouette that any and everything looks good on! Reinvent your style on a budget shows different ways and tips to create your desired look and slay. When I see the various cutting edge styles worn by young ladies today, I’m secretly pleased when they tell me how inexpensive the outfit is which further buttresses my point. The Fashion Girl’s Checklist is also another eye-opener on the necessary basics you need in your wardrobe to help you transition from one look to the other with ease. Bottom line is, this approach saves many young women tons of money and gives them room for more serious investments for their future. I am talking to the ladies who should know that being clad in designer wear from head to toe with no visible means of income to justify the look can only take you so far. Mix and match. That is what style and carriage is all about. Why put yourself under self-imposed pressure? Please do not go that route. Unwise. The fashion industry recently lost one of its greatest designers Azzerdine Alaia and needless to say, like those that have gone before him, every item by him is now a collector’s item! If per chance, you own any of his pieces, treasure them.
