KUDDY COSMETICS

-

Kuddy Cosmetics is one of the largest beauty stores in Nigeria that sell a wide range of beauty products from makeup powders to hair extensions to perfumes and many more. At this year’s Arise Fashion Week, Kuddy Cosmetics provided hair extensions and hair care products for the models in the show. We had a chance to catch up with their marketing Director, Abdul Fashola who told us what his experience was, working backstage at the Arise Fashion Week. Is this your first time working with AFW?

Yes, it is. I heard about it through my sister and decided to sponsor the hair products for the models. Initially wanted to use Blackopal for the cosmetics brand, but it didn’t workout. What it was like working backstage and what were the highlights?

It was nice working backstage. Highlight was getting feedbacks on my products and also networking with other people in the beauty business. Tell us a little more about Kuddy cosmetics brand and what you hope working with AFW will do for the brand? Kuddy cosmetic is a wholesale and retail store. We are distributors for major brands like Blackopal, Makari, L’oreal Carols Daughter, Ardell, China Glaze, Ecoco, Queen Helen and so much more. And we also have our own brand that was part of the products used for the fashion show. We hoped to get more awareness and just network with other beauty brands, and that, we did! You were able to see the show from behind the scenes and also as part of the audience. What were your thoughts from both sides?

The Arise Fashion Show was well organized, had that luxury fashion feeling to it and it was so much fun to watch, more so knowing we played a role towards it’s success. If you had to describe working with the brand with one single word what will it be?
